Colin is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over three years of experience working as a therapist, as well as several years of additional experience working in mental health and related fields. He works with individuals across the lifespan using a person-centered, integrated approach that draws on various evidence-based therapeutic modalities to best meet the needs of each individual, and to help foster personal growth and development in a compassionate and supportive environment.

Colin graduated from the University of Delaware in 2015 with bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Colin then worked for several years in school systems and the mental health field in various capacities, during which he was trained in ABA therapy and worked as a behavioral interventionist and paraprofessional. After returning to school, Colin received a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wilmington University in 2022. Colin places a high value on learning and continues to strive to expand his knowledge and experience through different forms of education and training.

Colin utilizes a variety of different therapeutic approaches to best adapt to and meet the needs of each individual, particularly drawing upon Person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, and mindfulness-based approaches. Colin believes in creating a supportive, compassionate, and non-judgmental space in therapy to address and resolve challenges, clarify and process thoughts and emotions, increase knowledge and awareness of the functioning of our brains and bodies and how this impacts and informs our experiences, and for the individual to work to grow into the Person they would like to be according to their chosen values.
