Gabrielle Manske

LCSW-C

Gabrielle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in mental health working with adults. She specializes in trauma treatment, including healing from adverse childhood experiences, physical and sexual traumas, combat traumas, workplace traumas, and everything in between. She uses methodologies and theories including EMDR, Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Emotional Freedom Techniques, and Cognitive Behavioral approaches. She has a passion for helping people find meaning and purpose in their life experiences and believes that all people have the natural ability to heal when given the right space and skills necessary for growth and transformation.  

Gabrielle earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Goucher College in Towson, and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland, School of Social Work. She is a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor and enjoys teaching and mentoring other licensed professionals in the field. She has her Level 1 Trauma Certificate from the Ferentz Institute, and basic certification in EMDR through EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Program (HAP). 

Gabrielle worked in non-profit community health for most of her career and often in executive positions, while always maintaining a therapy caseload. She was the Clinic Director of a large agency in Baltimore County and left to build a successful private practice in Baltimore.  She moved to Cecil County in 2008 and served as part of Senior Management as the Director of Quality Management overseeing clinical outcomes, compliance, and trainings for over 70 therapists. She is very excited to join us at Changing Tides in June 2023, where she can focus her time on her passion of providing therapy.
