Jaid-Alexandra Montgomery

LMSW

Jaid-Alexandra is a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the social work field. She has worked in school settings, residential treatment, child welfare, and crisis-based services. Jaid-Alexandra excels in working with children and their families, as well as traditional-aged youth, to make positive changes that meet the unique needs of each individual. She believes in meeting each individual where they are and focuses on taking a strengths-based approach to healing.

Jaid-Alexandra graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Behavior Science from York College of Pennsylvania in 2012. She then spent several years serving families and children who faced trauma and abuse, or struggled with behavioral disorders, in various settings. Jaid-Alexandra then pursued her master’s degree in Social Work from Salisbury University, graduating in 2020.

Jaid-Alexandra has continued to gain experience working with children, adolescents, and traditional-age youth who have struggled with suicide and self-harm, anxiety, and mood disorders. She believes providing a safe space to share experiences is the first step in making positive strides towards personal wellness. This provides the foundation for a therapeutic process tailored to individual needs and lasting change.
