Lauren Brewer

LMSW

Lauren is a Licensed Master Social Worker with 10 years of experience in social work practice settings. She has provided services across the developmental span, working with children, adolescents, transitional age youth, and adults. Lauren believes therapy should be a space where you feel safe to show up authentically and know that you will be met with unconditional positive regard and genuine care. 

​Lauren graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and received her Masters of Social Work from Salisbury University. Lauren has worked in a variety of social work programs, supporting individuals and families in navigating complex trauma, adverse childhood experiences, family dysfunction, depression, anxiety, stress and coping with life transitions. Lauren is passionate about meeting people where they are and incorporates various approaches into her work including Cognitive Behavioral techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Attachment Theory and brings attention to the mind-body connection through somatic awareness. 

Lauren is committed to supporting her client’s well-being and personal growth with authenticity and compassion. Lauren approaches therapy from a person-centered, trauma-informed and strengths-based perspective. She believes therapy is a space to feel heard, validated and supported.
